David has built about 30 book nooks, dioramas and models to date. His preference are dioramas as these are more time consuming but enjoys reverting to an old-fashioned book nook ocassionally.

Introduction
After spending many hours making the ROKR Marble Night City Run which is a test of patience it was quite a relief coming back to a standard Book Nook. As always, CuteBee kits are very high quality materials with good instructions and straightforward lighting assembly.
Kit Contents
Due to the majority of this kit being snap and click with thick wood it is an easy and clean build and therefore very suitable for a beginner to book nook making. Apart from the main wood boards and lighting kit, these are the main additions.

The instructions are very easy to follow but you are assembling quite a few components before attaching them so make sure you keep them in a safe place
General Build Notes
As always with a hinged opening book nook the tine screws for the hinges are quite tricky to get in place. What I do is glue one side of the hinge in the exact place and it is easier to get the screws into position. Unfortunately in this kit the screws are not magnetic, which makes things a lot easier, so it does take patience to get them screwed in.
It is only when you get to step 36 out of 56 do you start adding the built furniture onto the main shell. When you add the PVC to the doors and windows, I recommend using the blunt edge of a craft knife to remove the backing as this is sometimes quite tricky – but don’t forget to remove it!
Make sure you position the lighting wires cleanly into the side before you attach the roof or you may have problems clicking a few of the final walls into place.
Final Verdict
This is a beautiful looking book nook, especially as a gift for a person who loves flowers. I would highly recommend it as a first kit for a beginner due to Cutebee’s reputation of high quality materials and easy to follow instructions.
