My first book nook
I did my first book nook by mistake (long story). This was a difficult build, especially for a beginner but I learnt a lot. So much so that I rebuilt this model for my sister-in-law and I learnt from my mistake. Have a quick read 7 Common Mistakes
As I did this build before deciding to share information with other “nookers” I do not have detailed photos or notes so I will use Temu product pictures.

The main issue with this kit for a beginner is that it is completely glue based meaning that no parts including walls and ceiling have to be glued to the floor. Without the right tools it was very difficult to get perfect alignment which causes problems when you are trying to connect all the infrastructure. On second build I used the right tools and it made it so much easier. Have a quick read Tools for basic and complex kits

Final Thought
It is a visually appealing model but I would not recommend doing it until you have done at least 5 basic builds. Top tip: use a free-standing set square for perfect wall alignment.
